Zirconia Starfighter performing for Koulfest (12.7.2026, Chalkida, Athens GR)

"Then came July like three o'clock in the afternoon, hot and listless and miserable" – Allie Ray.

So, I was booκed for the 12th of July to perform for Koulfest in Chalkida. The event took place early in the afternoon, so we had to travel under the hot sunlight to get to the Chalkida Municipal Stadium by car with my friends.

Three famous Greek (and non-Greek) trap artists were performing live. As is well known, trap isn't a genre of music for me —I actually detest it. But the show is a huge part of my life —if not half of it— and I always give it my all on stage! Everything was fun and lovely. To be honest, I miss autumn and, most of all winter as I also hate the heat.

Zirconia Starfighter undergoing rhinoplasty (9.6.2026, Athens GR)

It's a cruel season that makes you get ready for bed while it’s light out. Summer is the annual permission slip to be lazy. However, June found me extremely busy and mostly concentrated on the surgeon's bed.

For most of my life, I noticed my nose before I noticed anything else about my face. It wasn’t something that consumed every moment of my day, but it was always there in the background. Photos were the biggest trigger. I would look at pictures from vacations, gatherings, or work events and immediately focus on my profile. Friends would tell me I looked great, but all I could see was the feature that had bothered me since my teenage years. The strange thing is that I lived with the idea of rhinoplasty for years without doing anything about it. Every time I thought seriously about surgery, I would talk myself out of it. I worried about looking different. I worried about pain. I worried that I would spend all that money and somehow regret changing a part of my face that made me look like me.

As I got older, I realized my hesitation wasn't really about the procedure itself. It was fear of the unknown. And the problem I had with my diaphragm —especially after my two pregnancies— was the most critical issue of all, requiring immediate resolution, as I was no longer breathing well at all.

Eventually, I scheduled a consultation. During my research, I met with Dr. Aristomenis Giannopoulos. What stood out to me was how much time he spent discussing realistic expectations. There was no promise of perfection. The conversation focused on balance, proportion, and preserving my natural features. That approach made the decision feel less intimidating. The week before surgery was probably the most emotional part of the entire experience. I spent the day before surgery preparing my recovery space at home. I stocked my refrigerator with easy meals, got everything ready from pharmacy, prepared both nannies for my children to not get scared after seeing me with all those bandages and tampons inside my nostrils. Looking back, those simple preparations made recovery much easier. If you’re considering rhinoplasty, I would strongly recommend having everything organized beforehand because you’ll appreciate not having to think about errands afterward.

The morning of surgery arrived much faster than I expected. I remember sitting in the waiting area feeling nervous but surprisingly calm. The staff explained everything clearly, which helped ease some of the anxiety. Once I changed into a gown and completed the final paperwork, things moved quickly. The procedure itself felt incredibly short from my perspective. After speaking briefly with the anesthesiology team, I received sedation and honestly don’t remember much after that. One moment I was awake and asking questions, and the next I was waking up in recovery.

The first thing I noticed was not pain. It was congestion. My nose felt stuffed, and breathing through my mouth became my new normal for a while. There was some discomfort, swelling, and bruising around my eyes, but it was much more manageable than I had imagined during all those years of worrying. The first week required patience. Sleeping upright was not my favorite experience, and I learned very quickly that recovery happens on its own timeline. Ice packs helped. Staying hydrated helped. Most importantly, avoiding the temptation to constantly inspect my nose in the mirror helped. One thing I wish someone had emphasized more is how gradual rhinoplasty recovery results can be. Swelling changes week by week and sometimes day by day. There were moments when I wondered if I would ever see the final result. And then came a small accident. Exactly one day before removing the tampons from my nostrils, I sneezed. An incredible hemorrhage started, and I bombarded my doctor with phone calls. However, panic would not have helped in this situation; and since he was away for the weekend, I followed to the letter both his advice and the texts I carefully read regarding accident scenarios—such as the one I was facing. Fortunately, he called me back as soon as his assistant informed him, and I made an emergency visit to his practice, where he treated me. I recovered almost immediately.

I haven't regretted a single moment of what I've been through, though. Rhinoplasty did not transform my life overnight. It did not make every insecurity disappear. What it did give me was a sense of ease. I no longer avoided side-profile photos. I no longer analyzed every picture someone posted online. I felt more comfortable being seen. If you’re considering rhinoplasty, my advice is simple. Take your time researching. Choose a surgeon who communicates honestly. Prepare for recovery before surgery day arrives. Be patient with swelling, and remember that healing is a process, not an event.

For me, rhinoplasty was less about changing my appearance and more about letting go of years of self-consciousness. The procedure was not nearly as frightening as I imagined, and the recovery taught me the value of patience. Looking back now, I’m grateful that I finally stopped letting fear make the decision for me.

Zirconia Starfighter performing for SPANK at Temple (23.5.2026, Gazi, Athens GR)

May, it's full of all the things that make spring and the brighter part of the year so special. Flowers bud, the sun shines, and new seeds are sewn into the fabric of our lives. May is awesome as it's my nameday month.

I started this month by creating some brand-new photos with Konstantinos Profis at his studio in Glyfada. This time I wanted to try some new make-up tricks so, I asked for Elizabeth Petrou's expertised MUA skills to help me materialize two different looks for my upcoming photo-sets. I will always remind you to visit my Patreon as I upload either brand-new, old but-gold or never-seen-before pictures from my numerous projects.

On May the 23rd I am announced as a performer for SPANK Party at Temple (23.5.2026, Gazi, Athens GR), where I will perform two of my exquisite shows, full of fire, sparkles and special effects!

See you all there kinksters! Let us make our future now, and let us make our dreams tomorrow's reality!

Where flowers bloom so does hope (4.4.2026, Athens GR)

April is finally here. With warmth, longer days and nature all around us reviving and starting to blossom. It’s a time of new beginnings. Of new hope. And of new energy to go after your goals and dreams. In today's post I'd simply like to share a few of the most inspirational, positive and creative photo-sets of my youth.

I hope you'll find something here that'll help you to appreciate April a little extra this year and to have a wonderful and a less stressful month. Don't forget to purchase anything you like on my Patreon this month.

Some people can't be fooled on April Fool's Day because they were fooled too many times during their entire lifetime. Renewal is rooted in gratitude for what has been and hope for what can be.
